One of the world's truly great warbird air shows! Every year for 2 magical days in July, many of the world's finest surviving examples of classic fighters and bombers gather at Duxford to thrill the crowds - and the 2006 show was magnificent! Featuring WWI vintage Bristol Fighters (probably the first-time such a formation has been seen in public for many decades), six P-51 Mustangs, Spanish-built Me109 tail chasing with a Hurricane, twelve surviving Spitfires, Lufthansa's rarely seen Ju52, two Catalina's two B-17 Flying Fortresses and a thirty aircraft Balbo - the largest and most spectacular finale in recent years.
