It is the late eighteenth century and young Victor Frankenstein is devastated by the death of his mother. He decides to leave home and attend university where he meets his uncle Henry Clerval. He becomes obsessed by the teachings of Professor Waldman who is convinced that life can be created from dead matter and soon Victor begins to create a Creature from dead bodies.
